Tri-source heat pump is a solution designed to transfer heat from a low-temperature environment to a high-temperature environment using sources including motor, battery and air through a compressor, which consumes a little of energy.
Equipped with the tri-Source Heat Pump technology, the battery swapping heavy-duty truck can automatically switch to the most cost-effective operating mode based on different driving conditions,which can minimize power loss and reduce operational costs.Taking electric heavy duty tractors with a rated load capacity of 49t as an example,in an operating environment of -5℃, the electric heavy-duty truck running at full load can effectively increase its winter range by using the tri-source heat pump for heating, compared to vehicles using PTC heating. This can lead to a maximum reduction in the overall energy consumption of the electric heavy-duty truck by 10-15% during winter.
