Electric Ship

With power reserve for long-distance navigation, we are ushering in a new era of battery swapping for inland waterway transportation. By coordinating with ecosystem partners, Qiyuan actively promotes the application of electric ships in inland waterway transportation, and thereby accelerates the green transformation of the water transportation industry. In addition, it has introduced the innovative "ship-battery separation" mode, as well as innovative solutions such as battery leasing, battery charging and swapping network deployment, and ship financing and leasing into the inland waterway transportation sector, breaking the dominance of diesel engines in the inland waterway transportation, fostering the commercial growth of electric ships, and aiding in the pursuit of "carbon neutrality and carbon peak" objectives.

  • Highlights

The Jiangyuan Baihe electric ship is designed with the "plug-and-play" battery swapping system, and each battery swapping takes only 20 min. Compared to diesel-powered container ships with equivalent load capacities, the cost difference for a round trip is approximately ¥3,500. Assuming 130 round trips annually, the yearly savings in fuel costs exceed ¥450,000.
